Transform your tired old dining chair!

Before & After: dramatic transformation from dull & broken to colorful Shabby Chic!

Bring Your Own Dining Chair, Ottoman or Stool and join us for this fun 2-hour class where we’ll use creative collage techniques to show you how to transform your tired old piece into a unique gift, for yourself or someone special. Bring a friend and create a pair of chairs together. Great gift idea for a Bride & Groom, Graduation or any special occasion.

Collage materials will be provided for participants to use in the class, but you are welcome (& encouraged) to bring your own items. Create a theme with photos or other mementos.

What is Collage? Collage is pasting onto a surface various materials not normally associated with one another, such as  fabric, photos, old maps, newspaper or magazine clippings – basically anything glue-able that invokes special memories of people, places & things.

Prepare your surfaces: Be sure all surfaces of your chair frame are clean before the class.

Note: This is not an upholstery class – does your chair need repairs or new seat upholstery? Sign up for the ‘Dining Chair Upholstery Workshop’.
